Course Description:
Guided study is a gifted elective designed to teach gifted students to critically think, formulate in-depth questions, practice research skills, and present research findings in a variety of ways. Emphasis is placed on the development of critical thinking and the synthesis and analysis of information. Students will write research proposals and weekly reports; they will practice good time management and demonstrate personal responsibility for their learning. This course will challenge the student to study and explore various topics of the student’s choosing.
